1) What am I purchasing?
You are paying for our time to design and supply you with high-resolution JPEG file that you print how many you want on your printer, with photo developer or in bakery (edible icing sheets).
You purchase one personalized design based on one of our samples that you will be able to print how many times you need.
YOU BUY THE DESIGN, NEITHER THE PRINTED INVITATION NOR THE CAKE NOR THE CANDIES.
2) What does the price include?
+ The customized design: 1 digital file JPEG at high resolution to print.
+ FREE file: 1 similar digital file to the previous one, optimized to be send by e-mail as an e-card or reminder.
+ FREE delivery of both files via e-mail.
3) What things can be modificated?
+ Personal photos.
+ Fonts (type and color).
+ Wording.
+ Complete color scheme.
+ Arrangement of graphic elements (if your product choice allows).
4) How does this process work?
+ Fill out the contact form.
+ We will send you an invoice.
+ Make the payment.
+ We will contact you with an e-mail address for you to send personal information and photos for your custom design.
+ We will e-mail you back proof for approval within 72 hours (or sooner if workload permits).
+ Once approved, we will e-mail you your final JPEG file for you to print your invitations in unlimited quantities.
5) If I choose a design with photo, how can I send it?
Send it attached in an e-mail in jpeg, tiff or bmp format. Please send the highest resolution photo you have (At least 3 megapixels. If it was scanned, at least 300 dpi). If it needs enhancement, we always provide basic touch ups at no additional charge. YOU CAN BE SURE THAT YOUR PHOTO WILL BE THE BEST THAT IT CAN BE. If you don't want a photo in your invitation that's fine too!
6) What resolution should photos be?
At least 3 megapixels. If they were scanned, at least at 300 dpi.
7) How can I pay?
Payment is online through Paypal (you can use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, bank account, etc.).
Additionally, Argentina residents can pay with Rapipago and Pagofacil also.
8) How do you send me my design?
We send you your design via e-mail or by a link to a web page from where you will be able to download it.
9) Can I see how the work looks before you finish?
Of course. We will e-mail you a proof for approval until you will be 100% satisfied.
10) How many time I have to wait to get my invitations finished?
A few days (Based on time from receipt of payment, receipt of your photo/instructions, proof approval and print yourself or at 1 hour photo lab).
11) Which common mistakes add costs?
Please choose your photo carefully, ensure you want the photo you are sending as it costs US$ 5 to change it.
Keep in mind that once you choose one of our designs your invitation will be based on, you won't be able to change it for another design since this would mean that we design two invitations instead of one alone.
Ensure that you have proofread and finalized your text before we have sent you your final files. Once you are in receipt of the high resolution final files, any text changes will be invoiced to you US$ 5.
No exceptions so we encourage you to take all the time you need to choose your photo, to finalize your information and read things carefully. Please check adress, name, date, etc. You would not believe how many people get their phone number wrong!
Make a test print in your home printer if possible, this will let you view the invitation in a print format rather than web.
12) Copyright information
Please note that you are paying for our time to create your personal invitation. EL SUR DEL CIELO maintains the copyright on all designs. The digital file that we provide you is to be used strictly for personal reasons and not to be used in conjunction with any resale of the design or elements within that design. It is very important to note that for copyright restrictions on the Characters only permits graphics to be used for one time only personal use such as birthday parties. Not all photo labs are aware of this policy and if you have issues with a photo lab refusing to print for you, just go to another local photo lab or print at home yourself.
